Champagne Bliss

This transformed from a cold sniff impression of sweet grapes and citrus to a moderately boozy, refreshing drink more befitting of its name when burned. Dominant white grape juice is grounded by cassis which produces a boozy-ish tangy base to balance the fruity sweetness. No distinctive floral notes were noted, however an undertone of subtle greenery was discernible while zesty citrus (likely lemon and Mandarin oranges or grapefruit) add a tannic finish. While the overall accord aptly gives the impression of a demi-sec champagne, the mild effervescence leans towards a crisp, white wine. Both strength and throw are medium, making it more palatable, less potent, and not as complex in comparison to its Reserve cousin Poppin’ Bottles.
